What is Electrofusion Welding Machine?

Electrofusion Welding Machine is a method of welding by applying a heating process by means of electric current. This method heats the attachment (sleeve) by applying electric current at the appropriate values to the specified parts. The parts heated to their melting point are fixed together by means of an insert (sleeve). Before fixing, make sure that the parts to be treated are molten.

Before the process, it must be ensured that the machines can deliver the required current. The specified parts must not be brought into the fixing state before they have melted, as this will result in an unsuccessful result. Unsuccessful results will lead to the unpleasant situation of wasting both the effort and the expense. For this reason, we must be very careful at every stage of this process.

What is Electrofusion Welding Machine?
Electrofusion welding machines are computer controlled machines used for welding HDPE-PP-PVDF pipes with a diameter of 20-1600 mm and electrofusion fittings up to 10-32 bar. These machines provide powerful, easy and serial welding with the shortest installation process in accordance with the international standard ISO 12176-1. It is lightweight and very easy to use. The electrofusion machine has a maximum operating resistance of 120 Amps. Suitable for operation at -15 C° ~ + 60 C° ambient temperature.

Before electrofusion welding is carried out, the weld should be checked. If there is a bump or pothole, it should be taken care of and the area leveled. All the machines to be welded must then be carefully checked. Make sure that the machines are undamaged and in perfect working order and that they are cleaned. It is not possible to weld properly with damaged machines. The cleanliness of the machines is also very important.

All fittings to be used during welding should be cleaned with the help of oxygenated water on the electrofusion surfaces to be welded after removing them from their special protection sheath, box or packaging. After this step, hand contact with both pipes and fittings should be avoided. A sterile surface directly affects the results of the procedure, so this step should not be skipped.

After the machines are checked and maintained, the pipes to be welded are checked. The surfaces of the pipes to be welded must be clean. In addition to cleaning, the surfaces should be shaved to make them flawless. After making sure that the surfaces are perfect and clean, the electrofusion welding process can begin.

The inserted pipe is then brought from the marked section to the bearing limit of the fitting. The electrofusion weld is checked flat with the pipe with the weld ends upwards and then fixed. The welding machine sockets are inserted into the welding ends of the joint and made ready for welding.

Wait for the machine to give the ready signal for welding. After the ready signal is received, the welding parameters are entered into the machine with a barcode reader or manually. After entering the parameters, the welding process is started. Typically, the machines display the duration of the welding process on the machine screen and automatically shut down after the process is finished, signaling the end.

If there is a problem during welding, the melted materials can splash around and harm people in the vicinity. For this reason, in order to ensure safety and prevent injuries, you should stay at least one meter away during the procedure and never approach. If problems occur during the welding process, such as power failure, damage to cables, etc., the pipes must be allowed to cool down before approaching the pipes or restarting the process. Otherwise there may be worse consequences. Since each machine has different cooling times, it is useful to contact your company for this information.

Electrofusion Welding Machine Operation

The type of electricity required for the operation of the electrofusion welding machine is 220 V. Electrofusion sleeve, electrofusion service TE and electrofusion fittings are connected to the sockets of the sockets of the electrofusion fittings with the help of a barcode reader and the barcode specified by the manufacturer on the attachment is read. In this way, the welding parameters are determined automatically and the machine is started and the electric current is supplied according to the desired voltage value and time. At the end of the time, the source is finished and the report of the source is transferred to the report memory.

Electrofusion Welding Machine Usage Areas

These machines are used in different fields for joining plastic pipes in PE, PP, PVDF material and electrofusion fittings. It offers effective coupling in all areas of fluid transfer, usually wastewater, clean water and sea discharge. It is especially designed for extremely fast and cost-effective repair of pipelines. Thanks to its technological equipment, it creates long-lasting products. Electrofusion welding machines provide joining of PE, PP, PVDF pipes up to 0-120 Amperes with fittings up to min.40 max.2800 mm diameter.

These welding machines allow the product to provide a high performance with its special design and useful structure.

Electrofusion Welding Machine Technical Specifications

The total electricity consumption, operating pressure and required generator power vary according to the machine type. DVS 2207-1, DVS2207-11, ISO 21307 offer powerful, easy and serial source reporting with the shortest operational installation in accordance with international standards. Butt welding machines provide ease of use thanks to their lightweight structure. The maximum operating resistance of these machines is designed as 120 Amperes. Suitable for operation at -15 C° ~+60 C° ambient temperature.

Electrofusion Welding Machine Price

The prices of the machines vary according to the welding diameter of the product. The price of electrofusion welding machines increases as the welding diameter increases.

Electrofusion welding machine prices vary according to each company. There may be natural variations in prices due to the introduction of quality standards. The size of the product is also an important factor in whether the price increases or decreases. We advise you not to buy a product just because it is cheap. The price of a product is important, but the quality is much more important. We strive to offer you the best service with good quality and reasonable prices in our company and we are proud of our efforts.
